I have worked with Roger Lee since 2008. In 2016 we enlisted his help to find a home to purchase when we relocated back to San Diego. We ended up selling the house in 2017 and I needed to find a condo in on a very tight time frame. Roger is the owner and broker for HomeSmart Realty West. Roger, personally, took my house sale and purchases because we are friends, on top of all of his responsibilities for HomeSmart. The HomeSmart team is exceptionally responsive, helpful, professional, and organized. For both, our house purchase / sale, and my condo purchase, the team kept me updated and on track. They were great about following up with my questions and assisting me with any additional information or needs I had. A majority of paperwork is done with DocuSign. They have the system set up so that you receive notifications when forms need to be reviewed and signed then send you a copy of completed documents once all parties have completed the work. They also have an excellent property notification site which allows you to search properties recommended based on the criteria you provide. Both the sale of the house and the purchase of the condo were on unusually short time frames for closing (3 weeks for the house, 19 days!! for the condo). I really enjoyed working with them and trusted any advice they provided because to past experiences with them. Roger was able to recommend several different service providers to me who are professional and reasonably priced. I inherently trusted the mortgage loan officer, and painter / general contractor he recommended. Anyone the GC recommended I also trusted because they are all tied together. Roger also had suggestions for things I could DIY to save myself some money. He is also an exceptionally experienced real estate agent himself. When I bought my condo, he wrote an airtight offer that represented my offer in terms that the seller couldn't refuse. I don't believe a less experienced agent would have been able to submit such a strong offer on my behalf. Roger works hard to run an extremely high quality, professional real estate firm, and does a good job doing it. I highly recommend HomeSmart if you are looking for a quality, efficient and professional real estate team.
